Virtual guide of Teplice Rocks

Teplice Rocks is one of the best known climbing areas in the Czech Republic, also renowned among foreign climbers. It goes without saying that all rules for sandstone climbing are in place here. Since the whole area of Adršpach-Teplice Rocks was declared a national natural reserve in 1933 and became part of PLA Broumovsko in 1991, it is necessary to follow all the rules of nature conservation. We highly recommend watching the Czech Mountaineering Association notice board informing of prohibited sectors; at the entrance to the rock area there is usually information on accessible areas that could help you avoid any troubles.

In addition to wall climbing, there are many crack routes in Teplice and some of them are famous nuts to crack. In recent years, however, there has been most climbing in the area of Temple Walls and Martin's Walls, and at Bašta and the surroundings of Kanec (Wild Boar). Everybody can find what suits them, a fan of "classic" moral routes as well as a "modern" wall freak. Of course, one must not forget to mention Bišík aka "Rocks" with a number of towers and beautiful routes, where virtually anyone can enjoy climbing.

If you have never been to Teplice Rocks, let us hope this virtual guide will be an inspiration for you, and we believe that it will help you to find your climbing route.
